Lao Sai Tao Yuan, the only group that has survived all these years, formed in early 19th century, it is the oldest remaining Teochew Opera in Singapore.

The eye is captured by performers on a brightly lit stage in full costume, beautified with bright shades of thick make-up and donned in luminous and over the top costumes that match and mesmerise.
