The Sungei Road Flea Market's last day of operation is on July 11. It is the oldest flea market in Singapore since the 1930s. Many of the vendors are seniors in age and rely on the free hawking policy there to sell their collected 2nd hand goods. Most importantly it is a source of livelihood for them.
